Examination Controller

Dr. Prashant Kumar Jain is currently the Controller of Examinations, and Secretary University Polytechnic RGPV, Bhopal.

Dr. Jain has rich academic qualifications that include B.E. in Electronics and Communication, Government Engineering College, Jabalpur (2nd position in the university), M.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering, IIT, Roorkee (Gold medalist), and Ph.D. in Electronics and Communication, Jabalpur Engineering College (RGPV).

His area of specialization range from Artificial Intelligence, Expert Systems, Pattern Recognition, Biometrics, Digital Systems, Microprocessor and Microcontroller, Computer Architecture, Operating Systems, and Theory of Computation to Computer Networking & Cyber Security.

He has published about fifty research papers in international journals and participated in six international conferences. He has guided eight research scholars.

His Examination Related Experience includes being Assistant Exam Superintendent at JEC Jabalpur for 18 Years, Exam Superintendent for examinations conducted by Professional Examination Board for 6 Years, and member for exam related committees at RGPV Bhopal for the last 15 years.

He has served as Head of the Department for 18 years, Training & Placement officer for 12 years Procurement officer for 5 years, and Member of College purchase committee at Department of Electronics and Communication Jabalpur Engineering College, Jabalpur.

He has also held the responsibilities of State Level Master trainer on behalf of the Election Commission of India, DTE Admission counseling in charge, Campus-wide networking and National Knowledge Network (NKN) in charge, and DTE MIS development committee member.
